How to Upload a Photo
Many LACUM gifts are made from your photo — laser-cut or printed onto a keepsake. A clear photo means a better finished piece.

What makes a good photo?
Do use
- Front-facing photo, subject looking at the camera
- Even lighting (near a window is ideal)
- High resolution — from your phone gallery is usually fine
- One main person or subject, not a tiny figure in a crowd
- Original image, not a screenshot of a screenshot
Avoid
- Blurry, dark, or grainy pictures
- Heavy filters, stickers, or text on the face
- Group shots where the person is very small
- Photos clicked from the side or far away
- Very low-resolution social-media downloads
If we cannot cut or print from the file, we’ll WhatsApp you and ask for another photo before production starts.
How to upload on the website
- Open the personalized product and choose size / options.
- Click Upload photo (or “Add your image”).
- Select the picture from your phone or computer.
- Crop if the page shows a preview — keep the face / main subject in the centre.
- Add to cart and place the order.
Keep the same photo on your phone until the order is delivered, in case we need it again.
How to send by WhatsApp
- Place the order on lacum.in.
- Save your order number.
- WhatsApp +91 79765 13586.
- Send the photo and the order number in the same chat.
- Wait for our “photo received” confirmation before assuming it is in production.
You can also WhatsApp the photo first and order after we confirm the image will work.

After you send the photo
- We review the image before laser-cutting or printing.
- If the photo is not suitable, we will message you. Production waits until we have a usable file.
- Personalized items made from your approved photo cannot be returned for change of mind.
- Wrong or damaged products are still covered — see our Returns page.
Privacy
Your photo is used only to make your order. We do not post customer photos, use them in ads, or share them, unless you give us written permission.
